Southeastern Network Route - is a freeware add-on available via the Steam Workshop, developed by a dedicated community member known as "Vaffelen" (Niklas). This work-in-progress route recreates a significant portion of the Southeastern rail network in southeast England, focusing on the South Eastern Main Line (SEML), Mid-Kent Line (MKL), North Kent Line (NKL), and additional branches.
Features Southeastern Network Route:
- Route Coverage:ย
- South Eastern Main Line: London Bridge to Sevenoaks (initial release).
- North Kent Line: Deptford to Swanscombe (added in v2.0, April 14, 2024).
- Bexleyheath Line: Blackheath to Slade Green (new in v2.1, March 22, 2025).
- Additional branches like Swanley to Sevenoaks and Bromley North (from v1.1, February 19, 2023).
- Stations: Over 40 stations, including key stops like London Bridge, Greenwich, Lewisham, Dartford, and Gravesend. New stations in v2.1 include Bexleyheath and Barnehurst.
- Scenery: Partially detailed with ongoing updates; includes custom Southeastern signage (via a separate reskin pack by LP) and some landmark features, though not fully populated yet.
- Signalling: A mix of fictional and prototypical signals, adjusted for smoother gameplay (e.g., between Waterloo East and London Bridge).
- Quick Drive Compatibility: Planned updates for Quick Drive are mentioned but not fully implemented as of v2.1.
- Requirements: Depends on several DLCs for assets, includingย South Western Main Line,ย Chatham Main Line Route Add-On, andย South London Network. A reskin pack for signs is available separately from TrainSimCommunity.
