Counter-Strike 2 is a new round in the development of CS:GO, which includes all the advantages of the original game, but improves and expands both the content and mechanics of the iconic competitive shooter. Core gameplay remained unchanged. The gameplay is a first-person shooter in which two teams compete with each other: terrorists and special forces. Several modes are available with different conditions: competitive matches (bomb defuse, hostage rescue), battle royale, war games (arms race, destruction of the object, flying snipers), deathmatch, clearing, joint strike, partners and guards. Depending on the scenario, the task of the terrorists is to plant explosives, while the special forces squad must clear them, or the terrorists must prevent the special forces from rescuing the hostages.
