Rente Shmms MMB - this modification adds high quality platforms intended for the traffic of steel coils, acquired by Renfe at the end of the 70s with the aim of increasing the frequency and capacity of the steel trains between Trasona and Sagunto. This particular model represents the second batch of these, being 400 units.

Since they came into service, they have made their journey crossing the network from end to end on an almost daily basis, forming quite striking trains, pulled by the majority of Renfe's electric locomotive fleet, the most legendary image being undoubtedly that of the Renfe 251 taking pure trains up to the Busdongo station, to form a double train and from there leaving for Sagunto, with double tractions on the tail at the La Cañada port.
