The natural continuation of the previous extension to Câmpia Turzii, which now is the Deva-Mediaș-Cluj Napoca route is officially released for Train Simulator Classic. Part of the Transylvania Route project, this extension brings another 51 1:1 more kilometers to the already existing aprox. 213 km’s that we already have.
Our last expansion to the North brings Cânepiști, Ploscoș, Valea Florilor, Boju, Tunel, Cojocna, Apahida, Dezmir, Cluj Napoca Est, Clujana and Cluj Napoca, together with its train depot, which is fully functional in game. Presenting both an “wild” (and a pretty difficult) area starting from Valea Florilor and an urban section from Apahida to Cluj Napoca, we hope that this extension will further enrich the diversity of the Transylvania Route.
The route also brings 10 more scenarios, 6 of them being continuations of the ones from V1 and V2 (IR 1734, IR 1735, IR 1765, R 2038, R 2036, R 3085) and 4 brand new ones (IC 531, IR 1763, “Comandă special pentru aeroportul din Cluj Napoca”, „Mixt pentru Coșlariu”). Also, we’ve fixed IR 1835, which had an Out of Memory error in Simeria (this is now fixed in V1 and V2 version as well). Additional to these, the route also has quick drive scenarios, albeit some basic ones.
Thanks to the new functions of the Armstrong Powerhouse Sky & Weather Pack we’ve managed to introduce random weather to most of the Regio and IR scenarios, the idea being that now we can have slightly different scenarios each time we open them. Beware that in order to make sure that you have a random weather, you must first launch the scenario and exit it as soon as it’s loaded. All you have to do is then to launch it again from the Scenarios list without closing the game. Should you not like the weather, all you have to do is to redo the process. The scenarios with random weather are signaled as such in the description.
