What is F-MAX mod?
This is a project initiated by two experienced mod makers for the Euro Truck Simulator 2 player community. In this project, the Ford Trucks F-MAX truck model is drawn in detail both inside and outside.
It will be transferred to ETS 2 with the same quality and will be shared on SimulasyonTURK on the page fmax.simulasyonturk.com when everything is ready and open to everyone. The project strives to be an example and pioneer in every aspect. We are doing this for both ETS 2 players and for such a truck produced in Turkey. This is a detailed mod project for passionate ETS 2 players designed by passionate
ETS 2 players.

What are the Ford Trucks dealer and test area?
In addition to the F-MAX truck mod, you will be able to purchase trucks from Ford Trucks dealer. As an extra to this gallery, a test area was designed. However, this test area will be added when the expansion of the Thracian region of Turkey coming with Road to the Black Sea DLC expansion pack is out. The Ford Trucks dealer is located in Berlin on the main map of the ETS 2. You will be able to purchase the truck here. In front of the gallery, there are signs and flags of Ford Trucks. With the new in-game feature, you will be able to go to the Mod Dealer in the game and buy the F-MAX trucks in the Ford Trucks logo tab from your own gallery. This work was done to increase the experience of ETS 2 players even further. Note: ProMods map and other mods will not be supported when published, but future work can be done on it later.

Who works in F-MAX mod?
Emre Aydın and Bertan Baday are working responsible for both internal and external modeling of the F-MAX truck mod. The marketing of the F-MAX mod is managed by Hasan Elmaz Öfke. The mod will be published for free in SimülasyonTÜRK.

What software is used in the project?
In the Ford Trucks F-MAX mod project, models are drawn in the Autodesk 3DS Max program. Adobe Photoshop, DXTBMP and Zmodeler3 are used for blender stages of the game.

Why free?
We want everyone to try the F-MAX truck mod. We know that people of all ages play ETS 2, and we believe that such an attractive model is not limited to ETS 2 players. We realize that a real vehicle is modeled. We aim to reach even those who have never played ETS 2 before. We want to present this mod project produced in Turkey and prepared by Turkish modders for Euro Truck Simulator 2 to all players.

How will the F-MAX mod be shared?
ETS 2 F-MAX mod will be shared on fmax.simulasyonturk.com. You will be able to download the mod package for free at the same time with everyone. We plan dedicated download servers for this. It will not be shared on advertised sites or whatsoever. This will be the only sharing address. For new releases and features, you will benefit from a single source. We don’t want the same file to be uploaded to different
sites again. For instant version fixes and improvements of the mod, we want the main source address to be shared on everywhere and the hundreds of thousands of players who will download the mod
correctly informed.

Will you share on Steam Workshop?
The answer to the above question also applies here. The F-MAX mod will be shared in two ways. One is normally downloading and uploading to the documents folder of ETS 2 and the other is the Steam Workshop share, which provides great convenience. Note: There may be no sharing in the Steam Workshop during the first week of release.

Will F-MAX be adapted to new versions of the game?
The F-MAX mod will always be compatible with the latest version of ETS 2. It will also be adapted to the new game features.

Will detailed modeling lead to lags in the game?
No. F-MAX model drawings are re-drawn separately as both high polygon and low polygon. Emre Aydın and Bertan Baday are experienced in both the programs they use and the transfer stage. So it will be completely optimized and trouble-free vehicle mod.

What software is used in the project?

How will the F-MAX mod sound?

Can we make different mods for F-MAX mode?
After the F-MAX mod is released, several improvements can be made by other mod makers. You will need to contact the F-MAX mod team for this. We also want to have various mods of chassis, painting packages, modified parts, etc. But we can't talk about it until the mod is complete. For now, please be patient. You will be able to share the mods that you will develop for the F-MAX mod project on our website. This will help you reach more people from the right source. Will we be able to transfer the F-MAX mod to other games?
All rights of the mod reserved. We do not want unauthorized works, but we may always work in collaboration with other mod makers.

Will you publish for the American Truck Simulator?
Both games are already the same for us but the mod will be released for ETS 2. ATS is not our priority but we do not want such a step to be taken without permission from us. We can do it.
We want the mods to be made outside of us to be realized with our permission and to be published on our site. This is necessary for the continuation of our updates and support.
