KrAZ-255 - Created on the basis of KrAZ-214B, from which the general layout is inherited. Among the main differences are the more powerful and economical YaMZ-238 motor and wide-profile tires with a centralized pressure control system. The largest number of vehicles of the KrAZ-255B / B1 family was produced in 1978-1987 (when production volumes amounted to 7,500 - 8,000 vehicles per year).
