Custom Skins CS2 - this modification adds some custom skins for weapons, gloves and much more in CS2. Custom skins in CS2 allow players to change the appearance of their weapons and characters within the game. These can be created by either the players themselves or downloaded from various websites. Is a modification for the game Counter-Strike (CS) that allows players to customize the appearance of in-game weapons and equipment with different skins. The mod introduces new textures and models for weapons, character models, and other elements.
Features Custom Skins:
- Customizable skins (skin ID, wear & pattern/seed ID) & stickers for weapons and knives via good old "items_game" system
- Supports custom skins & stickers made via CS2 Workshop Item Editor
- Customizable gloves via "items_game" system (glove model & skin)
- Custom agents support via "pak01" VPK model replacements
- Legacy CS2 weapon paints are available for new CS2 Weapon Models (except the skins of "Custom Paint Job", "Patina" & "Gunsmith" styles)
Changes in v8.3: - Added support for keychains due to the newest CS2 update - Added keychain data for C4 Explosive
PLEASE (I BEG YOU!) check out "README.txt" file inside the archive for installation instructions and some extra information regarding custom skins, stickers and music!!! BEFORE USING CUSTOM GLOVE SKINS, EQUIP DEFAULT GLOVES IN ORIGINAL CS2 FIRST!!!
FAQ: 1) Can I have the skins/gloves/agents/whatever without using this mod? - Sure, go ahead and use skin changers (more like cheats), though I don't advise to use them since there's a high risk of getting VAC-banned due to injectors.
2) Can I add items with custom skins/stickers/whatever? - No, since Valve decided it'd be better to keep custom weapon mods at Counter-Strike: Source level, which means you can only edit the existing itemsand not add the entirely new ones!
3) How do I use my workshop skin on any map? - Check out "readme.txt" file inside "cs2m" folder, it should provide you useful information.
4) Can I play online on official/community servers? - NO, the game will simply kick you out. Use lobbies to play with friends that have CS2 Skins Mod installed.
