Texturing art really unlimited. When i saw automatron textures quality i'm thinking...is it possible to make textures mostly 1k with very acceptable quality including for screenshoots ? Yes it is. Automatron mostly 1k and Assaultron only contain few 2k. This is from HD DLC pack.
My goal still same. Smallest file size with highest quality.
I enhanced all metal and make some virtual detail to bring sensation closer to true metal. More metal depth, Oil mixed with dirt around their body, more detail metal pores, ect. I'm not into robot too much but still...i want my screenshoots good.
Protectron. I don't include protectron here. That file from vanilla and hd dlc really bad. I'm lazy repaint protectron. Besides i don't really care for protectron anyway. That textures quality not even worth become game assets. So blurry. I suggest you use Protectron HD from Valius. No need remake it because Valius did awesome work about that protectron.
About liberty prime, i give that arrogant robot full quality ( almost give him label Made in Taiwan XD ). All 4k but still light because i compressed it. All about sweet spot and playable.
