Drag Meets brings some life to The San Andreas State by adding various working Drag Meets around its territory.
Features
- Multiple Drag Meets around the map, including but not limited to LS Airport, LS Canals and the Port. More will be added in future updates
- You can take part in the races now! Bring your best car and see how well you perform. Now its possible to challenge individual drivers!
- Over 50 tuned vehicles separated into three categories (Street, Gang, Country), allowing for specialized Meets
- Drivers actually race each other in pairs, taking turns. You'll be notified of the winner at the end of each race
- You can bet on one opponent before each race starts (simply approach him, check the third screenshot)
- Drivers have random reaction times, and a slight boost representing their ability to change gear at the correct time
- Each Meet includes cheering crowds, other parked cars and its very own Countdown Girl, who marks the start of each race with a Flare Gun. A barrel marking the finish line is also there
- Meets can be disbanded by calling the police
- Some Meets only happen at night, on weekends or both. Lamar will message you when a Meet is available so you don't miss any
- Future plans include: A tool to add your own cars to the Meets (or remove existing ones), scoreboard for all participants and much more!
WARNING
Not all rigs can handle the +30 vehicles on the LS Airport meet. If you experience a performance hit or your game crashes while you're on a big meet, I suggest you edit the Meet's file and lower the car limit to 15 or so.
