Hot to start electric locomotive VL23
1) Turn on the key combination (Ctrl + Shift + Z) of the Rechargeable Battery, the green “ROT” warning light on the assistant’s control panel should light up.
2) Turn on the “Alarm” toggle switch on the assistant’s control panel, the red signal light “Fan off” should light up, and on the driver’s control panel, the red light should light up
red signal lamps “CVC off” and “BV off”.
3) Turn on the toggle switch “Pantographs” (Ctrl + P) on the driver’s control panel.
4) Turn on the toggle switch “Rear pantograph” (Shift + P), or the toggle switch “Front pantograph” (P) on the driver’s control panel.
5) Turn on the “CVC” toggle switch on the driver’s control panel.
6) Briefly turn on the “relay return” toggle switch on the driver’s control panel.
7) Briefly turn on the “Return CVT” toggle switch on the driver’s control panel, the red signal light “CVT off” should go out and the green signal light “CVT on” should light up.
8) Turn on the Compressors toggle switch (button C) on the driver’s control panel and let him pump air into the main tank.
9) Move the “Lock 367” handle, located under the brake valves, to the lower position, wait until the brake line is filled.
10) Turn on the “Fans” toggle switch using the corresponding buttons (F)/(Shift + F) on the driver’s control panel.
When traveling with a heavy train or on a heavy track profile, the fans must operate at high frequency
rotation. The start of operation of the fans is signaled by a green lamp on the assistant's control panel. When the fan is running at low speed
The "VN" warning light on the assistant's control panel lights up. When the fans are operating, the "ROT" lamp should not light up.
11) Turn on the “BV” toggle switch on the driver’s control panel.
12) Turn on the “BV Return” toggle switch by briefly pressing and holding, the red signal lamp “BV off” should go out and the green signal lamp “BV on” should light up.
13) Enable "EPK" (Shift + N) on the left wall of the assistant.
DRIVING CONTROL 1) In order to set the electric locomotive in motion, the reverse must be in the desired “Forward” or “Backward” position. We move the main handle of the controller to the 1st position (A), then increase the position of the controller and monitor the currents on the ammeter, it should not be more than 620 A. 2) Having reached the running position, you should move to the next connection (Shift + A) or apply (shunts) field weakening (Shift + Q). NEXT IS SIMILAR: set of positions - (A) reset positions - (D) move to next connection - (Shift + A) turning on/off shunts - (Shift + Q)/(Shift + E) There is Auto dial and Auto reset, it is needed, for example, to go from the 0th position directly to the 23rd move (Shift + A) and reset (Shift + D).
CAB CHANGE 1) Move the handle of the “394” valve to the 6th position and wait until the brake line is empty. 2) Move the “Lock-367” handle to the upper position. 3) Set "Reverse" to zero. 4) Turn off "EPK". 5) Turn off "Fans" and "Compressors". 6) Turn off "BV". 7) Turn off "KVC". 8) Lower "Pantographs". 9) Turn off the "Alarm" toggle switch 10) Go to another cabin and run in the reverse order.
OTHER CONTROL BUTTONS H - Turn on/off the spotlight. Shift + H - Switch the spotlight dim/bright. L - Dim cabin lighting. Shift + L - Bright cabin lighting. I - Turn on/off the lighting of measuring instruments. Y - Call up train data. Backspace - hold until message. Calls for checking the integrity of the train's TM, or sends a helper to purge the locomotive's TM (one time).
