Hot to start electric locomotive VL23
1) Turn on the key combination (Ctrl + Shift + Z) of the Rechargeable Battery, the green “ROT” warning light on the assistant’s control panel should light up.
2) Turn on the “Alarm” toggle switch on the assistant’s control panel, the red signal light “Fan off” should light up, and on the driver’s control panel, the red light should light up
red signal lamps “CVC off” and “BV off”.
3) Turn on the toggle switch “Pantographs” (Ctrl + P) on the driver’s control panel.
4) Turn on the toggle switch “Rear pantograph” (Shift + P), or the toggle switch “Front pantograph” (P) on the driver’s control panel.
5) Turn on the “CVC” toggle switch on the driver’s control panel.
6) Briefly turn on the “relay return” toggle switch on the driver’s control panel.
7) Briefly turn on the “Return CVT” toggle switch on the driver’s control panel, the red signal light “CVT off” should go out and the green signal light “CVT on” should light up.
8) Turn on the Compressors toggle switch (button C) on the driver’s control panel and let him pump air into the main tank.
9) Move the “Lock 367” handle, located under the brake valves, to the lower position, wait until the brake line is filled.
10) Turn on the “Fans” toggle switch using the corresponding buttons (F)/(Shift + F) on the driver’s control panel.
When traveling with a heavy train or on a heavy track profile, the fans must operate at high frequency

11) Turn on the “BV” toggle switch on the driver’s control panel.
12) Turn on the “BV Return” toggle switch by briefly pressing and holding, the red signal lamp “BV off” should go out and the green signal lamp “BV on” should light up.
13) Enable "EPK" (Shift + N) on the left wall of the assistant.
14) Move “Reverse” (W/S) to the desired position.
15) "Vigilance Handle" (Q) or (Z).
